Step Counter Free collects the minimum information required to provide its features. The table below summarizes what data is accessed, how it is used, and where it is stored.

All health and fitness data you enter or that is automatically captured is used solely to provide the app's features. Specifically, we use it to:

• Count and display your daily step count, distance walked, and calories burned
• Calculate personalized metrics based on your height, weight, age, and stride length
• Track your hydration goals and water intake history
• Display weekly and monthly statistics and activity heatmaps
• Award achievements, maintain daily streaks, and power gamification features
• Provide persistent settings across app restarts
• Update your home screen widget with current step data

Your data is never sold, shared, rented, or transmitted to any external server or third party for any purpose other than advertising (see Section 5).

Step Counter Free requests access to the following device features to deliver its core functionality:

All user-generated data (steps, health profile, history, preferences) is stored exclusively on your local device using an embedded database. This means:

• Your data is never uploaded to any cloud server
• Your data is never accessible to us or any third party
• Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all locally stored data
• No account or login is required to use the app
• Data export (PDF/CSV report) goes wherever you choose to share it

Step Counter Free is a free app supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, including:

• Advertising ID (GAID on Android, IDFA on iOS)
• General device information (model, OS version, screen size)
• General location (country/region level — not GPS coordinates)
• App usage signals for ad relevance

Google AdMob's data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads at any time:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

Step Counter Free is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The app contains advertising by Google AdMob, which may be subject to COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) considerations. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through this app, please contact us immediately at the address in Section 10.

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times:

• Access: View all your data inside the app (History, Reports, Profile screens)
• Export: Export your step history as a PDF or CSV report at any time
• Delete: Uninstall the app to permanently delete all stored data
• Opt out of ads: Use your device's advertising opt-out settings (see Section 5)
• Notifications: Disable reminders at any time in your device's notification settings
• Background access: Revoke activity permission at any time in device settings

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Post the updated policy on this same URL
• Notify users via an in-app notice for any material changes

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
