Welcome to Candy Link ("we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are fully committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles user information in compliance with the Google Play Developer Policy and the Apple App Store Review Guidelines (Guideline 5.1.1).

1. Information Collection and Use

Candy Link does not require user accounts or login registration. We do not directly collect or store personally identifiable information (such as your real name, physical address, or phone number).

To deliver smooth gameplay, ads, and performance analytics, the application interacts with trusted third-party SDKs that automatically process certain technical device identifiers:

• Device Data Mobile device model, operating system version, hardware specs, and display resolution.
• Ad Identifiers Google Advertising ID (AAID) on Android and Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS.
• Gameplay Data High scores, level progress, stars earned, and coins/inventory balances stored locally on your device via encrypted Hive database.

2. Third-Party Services & Monetization

Candy Link uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device for monetization and analytics:

A. Google AdMob (Advertisements)

We use Google AdMob to show banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads. AdMob uses advertising identifiers to serve relevant ads, limit frequency, and detect click fraud. You can opt out of personalized advertising via your mobile device settings:

• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Reset or Opt out of Ads Personalization.
• iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking (Disable App Tracking Transparency).

B. Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand gameplay usage patterns (such as level start/completion rates and app crashes) to optimize game balance and performance. This data is aggregated and completely anonymized.

C. Google Play Games Services (Android)

We integrate Google Play Games Services to support cloud achievement unlocks, level progress tracking, and global leaderboard rankings linked to your Google Play Games profile.

D. Apple Game Center (iOS)

We integrate Apple Game Center on iOS devices to support achievement badges, player scores, and leaderboard tracking linked to your Apple ID Game Center profile.

3. App Permissions Used

Candy Link requests only the minimum device permissions required for gameplay features and monetization compliance:

• android.permission.INTERNET Required to fetch online level data, sync Game Center / Play Games progress, and load advertisements.
• android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE Used to check network connectivity before requesting ad updates.
• android.permission.VIBRATE Used exclusively to deliver tactile haptic feedback during tile selections and match combinations. You can disable haptic vibrations anytime in the in-game Settings menu.
• com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID Required on Android 13+ (API level 33+) for Google Mobile Ads SDK to manage advertising identifiers in compliance with Google Play Data Safety policies.

4. Data Security & Storage

Your game progress (unlocked levels, coins, and star ratings) is stored locally on your mobile device. We do not sell, trade, or rent user data to third parties.

5. Children's Privacy Notice (COPPA / GDPR)

Candy Link is designed as a general audience casual puzzle game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain EU jurisdictions). If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.

6. Apple App Store Transparency (ATT)

On iOS devices running iOS 14.5 or later, Candy Link prompts for App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before requesting advertising identifiers. If denied, non-personalized contextual ads will be displayed instead.

7. Privacy Policy Updates

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published directly on this page with an updated effective date.
